ACIM - a lay, non-profit organization founded in 1952 under the auspices of the Catholic Church has a proud record of accomplishments in the half century of its existence in the field of immigration.

After ACIM's success in 1965 under the auspices of the National Catholic Resettlement Council, its legislative agenda was implemented to include the resettlement of the families benefiting from the new law. Development of a social services program began and exists to this day. Free services are rendered by the agency but funds for the program come from the public (see donation information on Contact page).
